Care
Available Mon- Fri at our 12.5 acre picturesque countryside setting at Risley on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border. Treetops provides skilled nursing care, reassurance and support in a friendly warm environment.
Guests can relax in comfortable surroundings, including a conservatory which overlooks pleasant gardens or participate in various games, crafts, music and outings.
Complementary Therapy
On Wednesdays we offer Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage and Reiki,
which can help manage symptoms, induce relaxation and reduce stress. This
service, which is provided by qualified therapists is available to anyone with
palliative care needs or undergoing treatment for cancer and to carers.
Hospice at Home
Operating seven days a week, this service has been developed especially
for those with life limiting illnesses who wish to remain at home whenever
possible. Qualified nurses and experienced health care professionals, working in
conjunction with the family doctor and district nurse are available to provide
nursing care support and advice to patients and their carers at any time day or
night.
When nursing care is not required arrangements can be made for volunteers to
visit patients homes and stay with them whilst the cares take a much needed
break.
Volunteers are available on a regular or occasional basis and can visit during
the day or evening.
Carers Support Group
Organised by volunteers and nursing staff a monthly meeting offers time
and space for carers to support each other while Treetops provides care for the
loved one if required.
