TRACKER CHART SUMMARY: That's what two months back on-air can do for you! We thought we'd wait until Noel had finished his run on Radio 2's Drivetime before compiling the Tracker Chart Update - and the result is as show below - Noel a comfortable 433 hits ahead of Chris Tarrant. But only 13 hits behind him and making ground is Sir Jimmy Savile, who in turn is being pressed by DLT, the fastest climber in hits with 93 since our last chart.
There's still interest in another Sir Jimmy - the Young variety that is, and he climbs one place with a very respectable 73 hits since we last reported. Quietly making moves, there's Caroline Feraday up to 11, Johnnie Walker continues to generate interest up 1 to 14, and others quietly picking up include David Hamilton (16), Pat Sharp making quick moves month by month (17), whilst Foxy, Pop Idol judge, and now considering his Capital Radio future, breaks the Top 20.
Right behind and picking up the pace again for some reason, Andy Marriott moves back to 21, with both him and Foxy depositing Liz Kershaw, Diana Luke, Charlie Wolf and Mark Goodier down four places each. Simon Bates continues his climb since his Tracker page was launched, but it's Mike Smith who soars up 11 places and 61 hits into the 'Forty' as forecast last time around. Back into the forty comes the Kid at 39, whilst this time, we lose John Peters (also as forecast last time), Tony Delahunty, and Danny Cox. The man to watch in October's chart is the recent victim of BBC2's Life Laundry, Mike Read who has climbed 12 places from 56 to 44 picking up 43 hits in September.
Finally, in the lower sections, where there are now 74 of our Tracker entries with 100+ hits, Phil Kennedy moves up from 57 to 54, Ian Skye mvoes from 58 to 55, Fran Godfrey moves up 5 from 65 to 60, and there are new entries into 100+ hits for Janey Lee Grace (65 & 115 hits), Steve Jordan (67 & 109 hits), and from 70-74 come Adrian John, Martin Kelner, Mark Page, Peter Powell and Steve Wright on 103, 101, 101, 100 and 100 respectively.
AIRCHECK's TRACKER - viewed by you - changed by you...thanks for being there! Our next chart update will be at the end of October 2003.
Chart compiled 06/10/2003. To be recorded, a presenter must reach 100+ hits. Red column shows place movements & increase in hits from last time
